Excellent pasta made from scratch. We loved both dishes that we ordered. The Pappardelle was extremely tasty with a very savory sauce, fried guanciale, and mushrooms. The creste di gallo bolognese was good but transformed to incredible after I added more butter, olive oil and Parmesan cheese. The Focaccia bread with a variety of butters and the mushroom arancini were delicious appetizers. The Caesar salad was decent. The drinks took about 15 minutes to come out but the food arrived in a timely manner. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant but I would try to avoid sitting in the middle next time because of the heavy traffic. The pizza looks great and I want to go back to try that and some of the other pasta dishes.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Houston. I have been to a few, but this one is the best. The food, the service, the atmosphere is all top notch. If you are looking for Italian, look no further, this place is amazing!

Cute Italian place with slightly upscale vibes near Rice Univeristy! Got the Margherita pizza that was nice and crispy along e the Tagliatelle with lobster and shrimp that had a slight kick. Caesar salad has anchovies on top which is really authentic and delicious. Will def be back!

Stopped by for the first time and had a great experience. The menu has a lot to offer. The portions are huge, and the prices are fair. The place was pretty busy when we arrived, but the staff was friendly, and the service was fast. The inside of the restaurant was a bit dim and intimate, so we decided to sit outside. The place is kid friendly and has a child menu with a good range of options. We decided to try the meatballs al forno and tre burri; both were a great choice for appetizers. For the entrees, I would recommend trying the spaghetti carbonara or the parmesan chicken. The dishes were creamy, and the portions were big enough to share or take home. As an added plus, they also have extensive wine list, and well-crafted cocktails. I will definitely be returning!

We went here on a whim for an early dinner. The food was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was also good - and the restaurant was not busy. We got the Italian chopped salad, meatballs Al forno, and carnissima pizza. Everything was delicious. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the meatballs. You get two generous portions with ricotta, extra sauce, and grilled bread. The pizza was also delicious and light. I would probably opt for the cream sauce on the side next time. It was a bit overpowering. No pictures this time - but we plan to go back, and I will update this post!

Beautiful building and bar. We got a great chopped salad that was light and had spicy chickpeas and a perfect vinaigrette. I got the bolognese which was hearty and solid. We got a chocolate mousse cake and some zeppole for dessert. I don't like donuts, but the zeppole with the berry sauce was the star of the show.

I love Italian food. I also knew going in it wasn't going to be absolutely amazing especially for the reasonable prices, but I was genuinely surprised. Apps: - Had the light fried artichoke w/lobster which was delicious but the way and pretty light and fresh - The bread with the various butter was soo amazing very tasty and hard to control myself so I could save room for my meal lol Entree: - Had the Tagliatelle Nero di Seppia pasta (squid ink pasta w/lobster & shrimp) it was quite good with the sauces and the ink of the pasta balancing out the bittersweet flavors. I will say a negative is my lobster was overcooked and the meal felt pretty heavy Drinks amazing! All of them are pretty good The restaurant is a vibe, but it was super hot and their air condition system apparently has problems and it felt so stuffy it made my boyfriend feel nauseous and dizzy. On the other hand, our server was amazing and super personable I wish him all the best!

We came here for a friend's birthday on a Saturday evening. The place was packed! We were glad that we had a reservation and got seated right away. Ambience is buzzing and happening. There were also tables outside with some space heaters. Parking was $10 for valet, and there's also some metered street parking around rice village. But be careful parking on the residential streets - one of our friends got towed! Service itself was a bit slow and not particularly friendly. We couldn't quite understand our waiter and it took awhile to bring out courses. The food and drinks were great, however! We started out with the bread board, shishito peppers, and fried mozzarella for appetizers. All were great! The bread board has different types of fancy butter - definitely a good choice for something a bit different. For main courses, we got the mushroom ravioli, margherita and Moroccan pizzas, spaghetti carbonara, and pappardelle pasta. Also got the beet carpaccio and brussel sprouts. We were most impressed by the pastas - all incredible! Pizzas were good as well. I will say the beet carpaccio was just sliced beets on a plate, and was a bit underwhelming. And Brussels were pretty standard. Several people on our group were vegetarian, and it was a perfect place given the number of choices available. They also do a fun cotton candy birthday treat topped with a sparkler for birthdays, which is very unique and fun! Though it did take quite awhile to bring out. This may be our go-to pasta spot in Houston now! We'll definitely be back.

The tre burri - a focaccia mini bread with three butters and olive oil, was a hit. Easy way to start the meal. The pappardelle was 10/10 - creamy and packed with flavor. Best pasta by far.
